George Orwell?s novel 1984 is a prediction, written in 1949, on how the world would exist in the future. In the novel, Winston Smith lives in Oceania, a totalitarian fellowship ruled by grownup Brother and the Inner Party. The rest of the world is split into primeval other countries, Eastasia and Eurasia, which are equally as powerful. In Oceania, the judicature censors thoughts and actions that are against the party and unendingly monitors its citizens using telescreens and microphones. Winston becomes disgusted at the society that Oceania has become. In a journal, he writes about his thoughts and beliefs of the politics body and about his life. He always keeps his journal well-hidden so it is never found and no one recognizes his true thoughts and beliefs. afterwards in the novel, Winston figures about a unfathomable society called the ?Brotherhood.? The secret society consisted of a group of rebels attempting to overthrow the govern workforcet. Winston constantly seek s answers about his past, and in doing so he meets Julia, a cleaning lady who has the same beliefs as he does about Big Brother. The rival met their demise when they neverthelesstually got caught together in a trap order up by O?Brien, the supposed leader of the ?Brotherhood.? They were interrogated, brainwashed, and hale to learn to love Big Brother.
