Reflection on Antigone by Sophocles

The interpret started with us larn that Eteodes and Polyneices book killed each other in battle and that Creon the innovative queen regnant of Thebes has issued a decree stating that Polyneices was a squealer to the throne and wherefore his personate must not be buried and lead be left for the birds and animals to devour. Antigone who is both the niece of Creon and the child to Eteodes and Polyneices refuses to stand by and allow her brothers torso to be defiled. I was divine by the strength of the female lead of the play Antigone. At the start of the play she intercommunicate her sister Ismene of her fancy to live with their brothers body and although her sister refused to enroll she carried out the plan. Antigone was portrayed as a strong, independent woman, who refused to bear out down no payoff what the outcome of her decision. Even after she had succeeded in her plan to bury Polyneices and wa s captured by Creons guards, she stood her intellect in the face of death. The tho time Antigone shows weakness is when she realizes that she give die soon and not be able to be a bride or a mother. I really raise her inspirational because of her strength, determination, and overwhelming trust to do what was right for her family.
